The Sisters of St. Joseph of Baden are committed to providing a place of hope and hospitality for our dear neighbors, as well as a safe and healthy environment for our sisters and staff.
In light of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic and in accordance with Centers for Disease Control guidelines, the Sisters of St. Joseph are taking the following steps to help prevent the spread of this virus.
Beginning immediately:
- All public events and programs at the Motherhouse are suspended. This includes: St. Joseph Spirituality Center events and retreats, Baden Earth Day, and volunteer work days. Refunds will be issued for paid programs and reschedule dates will be announced as decisions are made. The Auxiliary’s Spring Luncheon is also suspended.
- Access to and from the Motherhouse is restricted. All visitors will be restricted from entering the Motherhouse, which is home to many of our sisters. Mass will be closed to the public.
These temporary measures will be in place through June 1, 2020. We will re-evaluate the situation at that time and keep the public informed of any changes. In the meantime, we ask for your prayers for those locally and internationally who are suffering in this time of great uncertainty.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping to keep our sisters, staff, and community safe and healthy.
