Proceeds support the Sisters’ community gardens, apiary and henhouse and our Sister St. Mark Garden Fund partners.
The Sisters of St. Joseph are committed to nourishing the bodies and souls of our dear neighbors and affirming their dignity. Come along as we visit one of our community partners, the Center for Hope in Ambridge, to see how they are serving our neighbors.
Through our congregation’s Twin Twinity garden and with the help of community garden volunteers, we donated 3,474 pounds of produce last year to local feeding programs like the Center for Hope. We also contributed 780 pounds of fruit from our orchard and 102 dozen eggs from our henhouse. Together, and with your continued support, we can reduce food insecurity in our region.
