Join the Sisters of St. Joseph to celebrate the 100th anniversary of In a Manger Lowly!

One hundred years ago, Sister Victoria Martin and Sister Ambrose Padden were dear friends and creative collaborators. Together, they wrote hymns to honor St. Joseph, reverence the Blessed Sacrament, and celebrate sacred occasions at Mt. Gallitzin Academy. Their lasting and most endearing legacy was a song remembered fondly – even today – as In a Manger Lowly.

We invite you to celebrate the 100th anniversary of this beloved song at the In a Manger Lowly Christmas Concert on December 4 in our Chapel. The concert will honor Sister Ruth Sattler and Sister Donna Marie Beck and will feature our Sisters and local singers and musicians. A reception will follow.
