Do you feel called to serve God and neighbor?
Each day presents us with invitations to grow in relationship with God, with our neighbors, and with all of Creation. Entering into each new day is exciting, promising and sometimes risky – but it is always God’s gift. With an abundance of collective gifts, we work with immigrants and homeless women and children, educate others on anti-trafficking, and food insecurity, create sustainable and organic gardens, nourish the poor and advocate for peace and justice. We sing. We pray. We garden. We heal. We care. We are ordinary women, doing ordinary things for the extraordinary love of God.
Do you wish to live with others who share your values?
Living in community is a call to live out the Gospel values with those called to share life with us. We recognize that the Spirit gathers us and that we can have the experience of God in the context of being with others. As ordinary women, we do together what we could not do individually.
Do you want to make prayer the center of your life?
Prayer – communal and personal – is at the very heart of our religious life. In the spirit of St. Ignatius of Loyola, our Sisters pray to grow in union with God, with each other, with our dear neighbors, and with all of Creation. Through our daily practice of fervent, faithful prayer and contemplation, we sustain loving attention to the presence of God in sacred scripture and sacrament, in the church and in the world – and in others.
